Our client a leading oil and gas operator is looking for a Campaign Planner to join their team initially on a 12 month contract.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Campaign Lead the Campaign Planner is responsible for the development and management of campaign activities plans.
Provides appropriately detailed and resourced functional activity programs to support the delivery of intervention scopes and system outages.

Accountabilities
* Responsible for building campaign scopes at the required level of detail (Levels 1-4) through scope maturity.
* Produce consecutive 7-day schedules for campaign activities
* Prepare and schedule activities for technicians via Activity lead/Work Coordinator on a daily basis
* Update schedule with agreed break-ins and carry out impact assessment
* Collect and scrutinise progress and performance for daily/weekly plan reporting as the scope requires.

Key Duties
* Build readiness activities and key milestones for the engineering, design and procurement phases of scopes into intervention scope plans.
* Scrutinise Maximo WO's, job plans and their manhour estimates to determine the building blocks for the execution phase of intervention plans.
* Ensure that vendor plans are compatible with the intervention plans.
* Development and management of a Work Breakdown Structure for all intervention scopes.
* Work with all JRE's to develop realistic, executable and resourced execution plans.
* Ensure interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined.
* The post holder will have a strong interface with the relevant Ops Services and IOC Planner to ensure the necessary integration of plans within the MTAP, 16-week and 6-week time horizons.
* Organise and manage workshops and or meetings to review and optimise the intervention scope plans.
* Take part in the review of any changes presented, critically analysing where necessary.
* Baseline scopes as appropriate.
* Lead & implement business improvement initiatives
* Raise PMR deferments responsibilities and ensure associated risk assessments are carried out where appropriate
* Monitor, verify and report progress, performance and deviations with a consistent reporting process for all intervention scopes, including 'S' curves.
* Support the implementation of planning improvements and system upgrades/roll outs.
* Collaborate with the IAP Manager and peers to optimise the planning and scheduling processes. Look to share best practice and support continuous improvement.

Education Attainment & Accreditation
* HNC or equivalent with significant experience in a similar role as a functional or maintenance planner

Professional Skills & Experience
* Proficient in the use of Primavera planning software.
* Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point
* Competent in use of Maximo Maintenance Management System

* Excellent organization and communication skills
* Independent, proactive with strong analytical skills
* Strong team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to coach and develop members of the teams


Circumstances
* Ability to travel offshore
