An established and stable company is looking for an experienced Psychologist to carry service users caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs using psychometric measures, interpreting and reporting results to the Lead Psychologist and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments.

You will work 37.5 hours per week alongside a multidisciplinary team in a low secure hospital which offers personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, for women with complex care needs.

You will enjoy support from a regional network of Psychologists and will be part of an environment where there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and CPD, where you will have continuous access to a range of training opportunities to move your career forward.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research, and publishing and presenting work to required standards under the co-ordination of the Lead Psychologist
  • Developing links with other organisations to support service user care plans
  • Assisting with research requests, inputting to universities and accommodating visitors as required by the Lead Psychologist

What you will need:

  • BPS recognised psychology degrees
  • HCPC Registration
  • Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications is desirable
  • To be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division is desirable
  • Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a forensic or psychiatric setting
  • Experience of working with clients with cognitive deficits is desirable
  • Previous experience of conducting research and project working
