Private Client Solicitor (Permanent)

Our client is a well-established legal practice with offices in Hull and York. They have an enviable reputation for high quality legal work, specialising in commercial, corporate, commercial property, private client, and compensation law.

The role:

They are seeking an ambitious and well-connected individual to help grow their Private Client services within their York office.

The ideal candidate will be confident in working independently and will have experience in a broad range of Private Client matters including Wills, Tax and Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.

Strong people management skills and/or supervisory experience would be an advantage, with the role providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build, engage and develop a high performing team working towards clearly defined goals.

The candidate:

* Qualified Solicitor or FILEX (3+ years PQE, - must be able to work independently)

* STEP qualification would be an advantage

* Able to lead a broad range of Private Client work

* Experience of dealing with high-net-worth clients and complex estates would be advantageous

* Strong people management skills and/or supervisory experience

* Commercially minded with business development skills to support plans for growth and to develop your own career.

* Excellent technical, IT, client care and communication skills

* Self-motivated and professional

* A passion to build and maintain strong client relationships

* Ability to manage own workflows and meet and exceed deadlines and targets

* An effective practical approach to your workload with a good experience of handling own files from start to finish
