Job Title: Nursery Room Leader

Location: Tooting

Salary: £22,000-£24,000 per year depending on experience

Job type: Full Time - Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Room Leader to join our exciting and dynamic team. This is your chance to work with a family run setting to provide an outstanding service for the children and their families at the nursery.

The Role:

Your role as Room Leader will include -

• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and staff
• Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Applying knowledge of EYFS to encourage child development skills
• Mentoring members of the team

Candidate Requirements:

In order to be considered for the role of Room Leader, you will need -

• A passionate and positive attitude
• 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or assistant Room Leader within an early years setting
• Minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification in child care
• Ability to lead & manage a small team

Location Description:

Mayfield Nursery is situated in the grounds of Springfield University Hospital close to both Tooting Bec underground station and Earlsfield station.
