FLT Reach Driver (Ongoing Contract)

Acorn is recruiting for an FLT Reach Driver to start work immediately for their busy manufacturing client based on Astmoor Industrial Estate in Runcorn.

This is an ongoing temporary position which may lead to a permanent role after successful completion of all training on site. The company recognises the importance of people and is committed to the training and development of Operators which could include progression to permanent Operator, Technical Operator and Line Manager level roles.

Any applicant must have an RTITB or ITSSAR accredited reach truck licence refreshed within the last 3 years. A counterbalance licence would also be a distinct advantage.

Hours of work are a rotational 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6pm, totalling 39 basic hours per week with all breaks paid.

Applicants must be able to commit to all 3 shifts.

The rate of pay is £11.09 per hour with overtime payable at enhanced rates between £16.63 and £22.18 per hour.

The job role will include:

* Moving stock from the warehouse to production areas
* Transportation of the finished product to the packing area
* There are some non FLT tasks associated with the role including some computer work, labelling, palletising etc

You will be working as part of a small friendly team so a hands on, can-do attitude is essential
