First Line Manager (Permanent)

Our client is a global leader of end-to-end device lifecycle management solutions and the world's fastest-growing device protection provider. They work with customers in approximately 50 countries touching every stage of a device's lifecycle, from when it's manufactured to the moment it's time to trade it in and re-market it.

We are currently looking to recruit a First Line Manager to join the Retail Stores team in one of the Warehouses in Crewe. Within this role, you will be a key member of the forward logistics operational team driving efficiency, consistent service and cost-effective operations alongside promoting an environment that puts health and safety at the centre of all that is done.

Duties may include:

* Daily planning of the operational activity to deliver customer requirements on time and in full.
* Provide key inputs into promotional events and product launch plans.
* Analyse productivity levels and opportunities for improvement.
* Managing the Shift Leader and a team of Warehouse operatives.
* To achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) through the effective use of resources, equipment and information.
* Ensuring that site standards are maintained regarding health and safety, housekeeping and stock control.
* To identify areas of improvement to ensure continuous improvement.
* Identifying key members of the team for further development, with the aim of developing a multi-skilled and flexible team.
* Ensuring all documentation, reports and statistics are completed and, where required, communicated in an accurate and timely manner.
* To ensure that the team is fully briefed to achieve daily targets.
