Acorn is looking for Production Operatives for our brand leading food and drink manufacturing client based in Haydock.
Candidates will support the overall operation of our client's production facility. They will be required to carry out general factory duties including manual handling and working on high-speed production lines.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working within an industrial environment.
Main responsibilities:
* Machine operating including setting up and clean-downs
* Packing
* Keeping work area clean and tidy
* Completing or verifying quality checks
* Meet and exceed production targets
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your Supervisor
Principal accountabilities:
* Health and safety
* Customer focused
* Team work
* Positive can - do attitude
* Maintaining a "clean as you go" policy
We are currently recruiting for the following shift pattern on the site:
* Monday - Friday
* Rotating: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6
Rates of pay
* £11.34 per hour
* Overtime is available at enhanced rates
