Our client, one of North Yorkshire’s Leading Law Firms is looking to recruit a Practice manager for its office in Harrogate.

This small and traditional law firm is keen to appoint a talented Practice Manager to join their successful and expanding team. If you are an experienced Practice Manager  based in North Yorkshire looking for your next career move , then, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Reporting directly to the Firms Directors,  you will be responsible for the efficient, effective, and safe running of the Law firm, in addition to its wider team of employees. This is a role not for the faint hearted and you will be expected to hit the ground running from day one.

Duties will include but not be exclusive to:

• Preparing and monitoring budgets
• Supervising  the  accounts department
• Implementing policies and procedures
• Assisting and advising  junior members of the team
• Organising and attending regular weekly management meetings with the Partners

In  addition to the above you will also assume full responsibility for:

The firms Health & Safety, HR & Staffing levels, Accounts Management and Facilities.

You will be welcomed into a friendly and busy team and be able to hit the ground running from day one.

As well as your dedication to exceeding the expectations of clients, stakeholders, and employees of the firm you will demonstrate excellent technical and IT skills as well as Solicitors Account Rules.

To be considered for the role of Practice Manager you must be a confident and clear communicator both verbally and written. Maintaining a positive outlook, being pragmatic and enjoying being part of a cohesive team is especially important within this smaller firm.
