JOB TITLE: Multi Trade Carpenter

SALARY BAND: £19ph - £22ph

LOCATION: Plymouth

Multi Trade Carpenter required in Plymouth. Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to join their maintenance project in a live care home. You will be responsible for installing and fitting all aspects of bathroom fixtures, including but not limited to baths, showers, toilets, sinks as well as associated tiling and painting work. Experience working within a care home in Building and Construction, or a similar environment will be beneficial.

Once this project is complete and Daniel Owen have secured a positive finishing reference, we will endeavour to find you further work.

Responsibilities:

• Install and fit bathroom fixtures, including baths, showers, toilets, sinks, and tiling
• Measure and cut materials to ensure accuracy and fit
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and end clients to ensure their needs are met
• Attend training sessions and keep up to date with new techniques and tools
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during installation
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Carpenter or Bathroom Fitter
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
• Must have a valid driving license and access to own transport
• Must have own tools
