Role: Field Operative

Pay: £12.40 ph

Job type: Part time, 22 - 30 hours a week

Location: Wrexham

Job Description:

We are looking for individuals who have a friendly, outgoing personality and the confidence to approach and converse with a wide selection of people. A field Interviewer needs to have excellent communication skills to persuade reluctant members of the public to take part in our surveys and to be interviewed. We will provide training and support to help you with this.

Responsibilities:

• To plan, organise and manage your own workloads.
• Have excellent verbal communication skills and enjoy meeting and talking to people.
• Be confident in the use of a laptop and a smart phone to record survey answers and manage your workloads.
• Full use of a car for work purposes at any time of the day and have
• You will be required to add a business clause to your vehicle insurance policy if offered a post.
• Be able to transport and carry equipment such as a laptop and survey materials with you, on occasion walk between addresses and navigate stairs when out in the field.
• Work in rural as well as urban areas and will be expected to work in a radius of 40 miles from the advertised position.
• To have a broadband internet connection at your home address is an operational requirement for this role.
• If you do not have a broadband internet connection at your home address, you must be prepared to have one installed prior to taking up an offer of employment.
• In addition to working during the day, there is a requirement to be able to work a number of evenings up to 21:00 hrs and some Saturdays. Field Interviewers need to be flexible to do a variety of working hours per week/month in line with the annualised hours contract.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Willing to complete a Basic DBS application prior to induction
• Willing to travel a maximum of 40 miles from your original post code p/d.
• Willing to obtain business car insurance
