Adoption Social Worker - £33.30/Hourly - Maternity cover - Long term contract! West Midlands

I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to join a close-knit & stable adoption service within the West Midlands region.

This will be a locum role initially for a rolling contract to begin as of of March 2024.

If you have previously worked as an Adoption Social Worker within a Local Authority setting and enjoy this type of work with a passion then my client is looking to hear from you.

What your role will entail:

They are looking at someone to join them as of February 2024 ideally to help with assessing and approving prospective adopters, supporting and identifying matches and providing a good understanding of the needs of children needing adoption such as therapeutic parenting, separation, trauma and loss.

What they can offer you:

• A very small caseload as the majority of the work will be non case-holding around assessment's etc...
• Ongoing contract length for 2024!
• Up to £33.30 hourly.
• Flexi working - 1 day per week in the office with the rest of the work completed from home.

You will predominantly be working from home during your contract. (Travel is required for visits & assessment's etc...)
