Location: Walsall

We are currently recruiting for the role of Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) on behalf of our client in Walsall. This full-time, fixed-term position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.68, and the contract is ongoing.

Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:

  • Develop positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during upgrade works.
  • Conduct pre-entry visits and company inductions.
  • Visit tenants in their homes to advise on the timing and nature of work being carried out.
  • Establish good working relationships with site teams and clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact, addressing problems and queries from tenants.
  • Contact neighbourhood housing associations and build working relationships with them.
  • Monitor and resolve customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support the production team throughout the construction process, including decanting and handover.
  • Communicate and maintain good relationships with residents and the construction team.
  • Organise and attend resident's drop-in sessions, some outside standard office hours.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with system programs.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Good telephone and face-to-face manner, active listening, and ability to handle urgent situations.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for effective communication.
  • Flexibility as required.
  • Valid CSCS Card and First Aid Certificate are desirable.
