You will be working under the guidance of the CAD Manager.
We are seeking a Junior CAD Technician based on our client site, consisting of offices, laboratories and Pilot Plant.
Initial main responsibility will be updating various site building layouts and site services drawings following major works on site.
Transferring as fitted mechanical, electrical and civil information over to existing site drawings. Creating and updating general facilities layouts. Adopting site drawing standards.
A good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Junior CAD Technician:
Experience in Facilities Management and Building Services preferable.
A good knowledge of the latest AutoCAD software.
Able to follow established CAD standards in regard to layering, dimensioning, text annotations. Used to working with blocks, borders, attributes and xref's.
Able to follow document control, numbering and filing procedures.
Able to use measuring equipment for room surveys and transfer data to CAD format.
The successful candidate would have good communications skills and be able to work within a team while also managing own workload.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Outlook, Word, Excel.
