Hours: Hybrid 2 days working from home, Full-time, Mon-Fri
Salary: £46,248k - £49k (DOE)


Our client is a British Charity, based in North London and are looking for an Executive Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis! As an Executive Assistant, you will provide a high standard of executive and personal assistance to the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team.

The role will be varied and will suit somebody with experience in supporting senior executives, excellent multitasking and combining an eye for detail and the ability to see the 'bigger picture'. The right candidate will be efficient and diplomatic and have the interpersonal skills to deal with senior staff and trustees.


Duties:
- Diary management for the CEO, including local and international travel arrangements, pre-meeting briefings and ensuring suitable brand material is prepared for meetings
- Handle internal and external enquiries in a professional manner, dealing with these to conclusion where possible, or referring them to the appropriate person
- Manage arrangements for relevant incoming visitors (from overseas offices and external), arranging meeting schedules, and assisting with travel and hotel bookings
- Assist with forward planning, agendas, ensuring follow up on action points and other logistics for SMT meetings and Leadership Team meetings (including that the distribution groups are kept up to date and audio/visual set-up is working)
- Deal with correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Ad-hoc projects as required


Requirements:
- Experience in an NGO or other charity (voluntary or paid capacity)
- Experience (voluntary or otherwise) working with trustees
- Interest in overseas aid and development
- Arabic language skills desirable but not essential
- Experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive
- Excellent communication skills, including a high standard of written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, flexible, discrete and able to make judgement calls as to when to take the initiative on the CEO's behalf
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working on issues that can be perceived as sensitive
