We recognise the importance of getting the best results, not only from new equipment, but also from existing systems.

Please note that the location of the business will be moving to Sparkford within the next 6-12 months.

About the Role:

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energized environment relies on organization and efficiency and with so much ground to cover in the line of duty it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming & outgoing shipments
• Data entry on company CiM50 software
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for contracts and sales orders
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse including stock takes
• Perform quality control checks on outgoing orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Be reliable and dependable
• Be upbeat and energized
• Carry out alternative roles within the factory if the need arises

About you:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent computer skills
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
• FLT license desirable but not essential
• Own transport essential
• Good numeracy and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
