Fostering Supervising Social Worker - Maternity Cover (Ongoing Contract)
Requirements:
- Social work qualification
- Social Work England Registration
- High standard of report writing
- IT compliant and work within the Liquid Logic recording system.
- Experienced in supporting foster carers.
The Fostering Team are seeking an experienced Social Worker to cover maternity leave for 6-9 months based in North London.
This role involves holding a caseload of foster carers and offering regular support or recruiting and assessing foster carers in line with service requirements. You will work towards meeting the needs of the Council's looked-after children by ensuring that carers access the required training and development opportunities.
You will deliver regular Skills to Foster courses and follow all financial processes to minimise costs and ensure compliance with financial regulations, also maintaining electronic case file records in line with the Council's recording policy and statutory requirements.
