Position Overview: As a Multi-Trade Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our repairs and maintenance team, focusing on council properties in and around Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of carpentry tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to installation, repairs, and maintenance of doors, windows, kitchen units, and flooring.
2. Work on both planned and reactive maintenance projects in council properties.
3. Collaborate with other tradespeople to deliver comprehensive repairs and maintenance services.
4. Ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
5. Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any additional information required for reporting purposes.
6. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Carpenter, with a strong focus on repairs and maintenance.
2. Proficient in carpentry techniques, including the installation and repair of doors, windows, kitchen units, and flooring.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with other trades to achieve project goals.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to carpentry work.
7. Valid driving license.

Van and fuel card included

Monday- Friday 40 hours paid, happy to do overtime.
