Nonstop Care is working with a local authority in South East of England that is looking for an experienced social worker to join their Looked after Children Team.

This position will provide you manageable caseloads and hybrid working, providing you with more time and flexibility on each case. This allows you to focus on delivering the highest quality care to children and families, all while enjoying a healthier work-life balance

The team is embedding specialism training projects tailored to your individual skillset, ensuring you receive training and mentorship to enhance your capabilities and further develop your social work career

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be in charge of handling a manageable caseload, working with Children in Care, and getting involved in:

• Utilizing various assessment and intervention frameworks effectively
• Providing expert guidance and advice
• Working closely with children and young people aged 0-18 being looked after

Requirements:

• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Post-qualified experience ideally across Children in Care and/or leaving care teams
• Clear, Enhanced DBS
• Full, clear driving license
