Job Title: Despatch Operative

Location: Corwen / Deeside / Sandycroft

Salary: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour, dependent upon experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, split shift of 9 hours between 6am-9pm

Providing highly engineered Global Logistics Solutions and value-added services to the UK's leading manufacturers.

The Candidate:

• Experience driving machines / earth moving equipment or small ground care tractors
• Customer facing role / liaison
• Loading HGV vehicles / FLT etc
• Despatch & Loading documentation
• Good team / site leadership / stock stewardship skills

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective stock stewardship, movement of product from factory doors to compound & loading vehicles.

• To safely and effectively pick, and secure all HGV goods vehicles and any other mode of transport that arrives on site in a timely manner
• To maintain the philosophy of "Best use of time and effort at all times"
• Constantly challenge unsafe or inefficient operations, behaviours, and practices, following through to a satisfactory outcome

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Health & Safety

• You adhere to the current site-specific safe systems of work at all times

Finished Goods Compound

• Stock stewardship and housekeeping within the compound are maintained to the highest standards so the risk of product damage is eliminated
