The Role:

We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint 2 Apprentice Platers / Welders, to accurately assemble fabrications within the required time-scale to approved quality standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work to the required standards using and complying to the information provided ensuring work is completed 'Right First Time'
• Read and understand technical drawings
• Work in a safe manner to promote personal safety and the safety of others to prevent accidents occurring and report all near misses
• Ensure that the job is completed within the required timescale meeting quality requirements
• Follow working instructions and understand what is required before you commence work. If you are not sure what to do, please ask your manager
• Handle all machine parts with care
• Complete any paperwork/records accurately and on time
• Work productively throughout the shift i.e. start-up times; break times and finishing times
• Ensure that the job number is identified on all components
• Follow Company/Departmental Procedures - if you are not sure, ask your manager
• Any ad hoc duties as and when requested to do so
• Use PPE in areas where you are required to do so
• Keep your work area clean, tidy and free from obstruction at all times thus creating a safe working environment
• Ensure that any waste is disposed of correctly
• Follow the company's Health & Safety Policy at all times
