JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client who are an exciting Facilities Management company are looking for a Fabric Engineer based in Tameside to join a growing team on a large static contract (3 buildings all within walking distance). They are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer who has ideally worked in a previous maintenance role. They are looking for someone from a Joinery background. This is a great opportunity with the opportunity to progress.

This role is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. Week 1 is 7am - 3pm. Week 2 is 10am - 6pm. Overtime and on call is available.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• Looking after the fabric of the building including:
• Minor Joinery (minor remedials on fire doors)
• Minor plastering
• Painting (touching up)
• Carrying out work safely and efficiently
• Building relationships with client and contractors on site

Requirements for the role

• Experienced Fabric Engineer
• Joinery qualifications / background
• Multi Skilled
• Reliable and can work as a team

On offer is a salary from £31,500 + holidays. Overtime and on call is also available.
