Daniel Owen are pleased to be working with one of Wakefield's best known and leading Sheet Metal Fabrication firms who are looking to expand their team, recruiting for a Welder Fabricator with MIG & TIG Welding experience on an immediate start.

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator proficient in both MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in metal fabrication, possess attention to detail, and be capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team. This role demands a commitment to precision craftsmanship, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and the versatility to work on diverse projects.

Responsibilities:

MIG & TIG Welding:

  • Execute MIG and TIG welding techniques on various metal components according to project specifications.
  • Ensure the highest quality welds, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Select and set up appropriate materials and equipment for each welding job.

Fabrication:

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications accurately.
  • Fabricate metal structures and components using a variety of tools and machinery.
  • Precisely measure and cut materials to achieve accurate fit and alignment.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to guarantee it meets stringent quality standards.
  • Make necessary adjustments to achieve precise measurements and specifications.

Versatility:

  • Transition seamlessly between MIG and TIG welding techniques based on project requirements.
  • Work on a diverse range of projects, adapting to different materials and welding challenges.

Safety Compliance:

  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety procedures.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members and other departments to accomplish project goals.
  • Effective communication to ensure seamless coordination and timely project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator with expertise in both MIG and TIG welding.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in workmanship.
  • Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment, tools, and materials.
