qualified social worker Adults Team (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What can they offer you?

• Flexible working - They are completing a mixture of home & office working at the moment, most workers will complete their visits over 1 - 2 days and then can work from home completing write-ups, reports etc.…

• Capped caseload - The Manager wants all of her staff to feel as if they are able to fully commit themselves to their caseload without being overwhelmed so your caseload will not exceed past a certain point.

• Regular supervision & access to the same training resources as permanent staff - You will receive regular supervision with your Team Manager to ensure you are supported and will have access to plenty of training resources that permanent staff receive.

• Competitive pay rate - Up to £30+ per hour DOE.

• This is a ongoing Rolling contract.

Main Purpose of Post:

• To assess and care manage the complex needs of older people and their carers to ensure their health, wellbeing and social inclusion.
• To liaise with Reablement and other professionals to ensure seamless care pathways which safeguard and promote independence.
• To promote partnership working which supports the person-centred outcomes to be delivered for older people.
• To undertake safeguarding investigations as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or equivalent in Social Work
• Registered on Social Work England

• experience of supervising QSW and ASYE workers.
• Evidence of excellent assessment skills, including the demonstrable ability to ensure regular reviews and risk management with a variety of individuals, carers or families.
