Hi! I'm Amory and I'm working with an exciting local authority in the South East of England that's seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their growing Family Support Team!

What will I be doing?

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of approximately 10 families, involving around 22 children, providing support ranging from Child in Need to court-related proceedings.
  • Collaboration and Supervision: Participate in regular supervision sessions, both personal and case-focused, to ensure effective support and guidance in your role.
  • Utilising Resources: Access specialised support services such as FAST and SAIT for direct interventions and assessments, enhancing your ability to address complex family needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Social Work Qualifications: Possess ASYE, Social Work, or Senior Practitioner qualifications, demonstrating competency in child welfare practice.
  • Case Management Skills: Ability to manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and meeting statutory requirements.
  • Adaptability and Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with remote work arrangements, including the use of Microsoft Teams for meetings and access to digital tools such as smart phones and tablets for communication and documentation.
