Social Work Assistant - Hybrid Working - £15ph

NonStop Care are working with a well established local authority in the East Midlands who are looking for an experienced Family Support Worker / Social Work Assistant to join their Looked After Children service. This position would be a great opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to join a tight knit, supportive team.

This position offers flexible hybrid working options, allowing you to complete work from home while not attending supervision, maximising the time spent in the comfort of your own home and creating a fantastic work life balance.

This role allows you the opportunity to join a very close knit team, allowing you the support of your team and colleagues whilst completing your work - ensuring you don't feel any pressure which will increase your overall job satisfaction.

Some responsibilities of this role include;

• Supervising contact between children and their families.
• Transporting children to and from contact.
• Working closely with Social Workers in the team

Requirements:

• A full clean drivers licence & access to a vehicle.
• An up to date DBS check
• Experience in Children's Services, ideally working within a local authority setting
