Job Title: Fabric Technician

Location: Beeston, Nottingham

Role Purpose: Carry out proactive and reactive engineering works to maintain the fabric of the buildings. This role will form part of the Hard Services team who carry out engineering works on a main campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reactive Repairs: Attend and complete reactive repairs across the client premises within the Service Level Agreements for Attendance, Response, and Completion.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Emergency Support: Provide support to the wider client Engineering Day Team in the event of an emergency call.
  • Duties: Undertake any other duties as directed by Managers within the remit of the role.
  • Update Systems: Provide updates to the Helpdesk and ensure the CAFM System is always updated.
  • Tool Maintenance: Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and working condition.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that both Client and our client's Health and Safety procedures are always followed.

Person Specification / Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience within a similar role e.g., building maintenance.
  • Qualifications: Qualifications in Construction, Carpentry & Painting desirable.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Work Ethic: Diligent and pro-active with the ability to prioritise and act on own initiative.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: A flexible approach to work would be essential.
