Specialising in high-quality student accommodation projects. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence and innovation in every project we undertake. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our team for an exciting new venture in Wolverhampton.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to contribute to the construction of student accommodation facilities in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry, ensuring that structures are built to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
2. Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions as required.
3. Ensure that construction sites are clean and free of debris.
4. Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
5. Collaborate with other team members, including contractors and supervisors, to complete projects efficiently.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Bricklayer, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in construction projects.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
3. Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and safety protocols.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
6. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
7. Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is preferred.
8. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
9. Must have own basic tools.
