JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fabric Engineer required for a large nationwide facilities management company, Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking fabric engineer to join a project based in Nottingham. The site can be accessed by public transport, however own transport is preferred.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• To attend and complete reactive repairs across the client premises, within the Service Level Agreements for Attendance, Response and Completion.
• To carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks in line with Service Level Agreements
• To undertake any other duties as directed by Managers within the remit of the role.
• To provide updates to the Helpdesk and to ensure the CAFM System is always updated.
• Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and working condition
• Any other works as directed by the site team

Requirements for the role

• Demonstratable experience within a similar role e.g., building maintenance
• Qualifications in Construction, Carpentry & Painting desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority
• Knowledge of Health and Safety
• Diligent and pro-active
• Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative.
• Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• A flexible approach to work would be essential.
