Biodecontamination technician - UK (Permanent)

Position: Biodecontamination Technician

Are you experienced in laboratory sterilization and disinfection procedures? We're looking for a meticulous Biodecontamination Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing decontamination procedures using specialized equipment and chemicals in both laboratory and manufacturing environments. If you have a keen eye for detail and a solid background in operating sterilization equipment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain specialized biodecontamination equipment
Prepare and apply decontamination chemicals accurately
Execute decontamination procedures following company policies and safety protocols
Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration
Maintain detailed records of decontamination processes and quality control checks
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient decontamination processes
Adhere to safety regulations in laboratory and manufacturing environments

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in operating decontamination equipment
Knowledge of sterilization and disinfection procedures
Familiarity with decontamination chemicals and their properties
Ability to interpret technical manuals and guidelines
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure
