Therapeutic Supervising Social Worker

salary up to £43,000 per annum

NonStop Care is working with a well established Independent Fostering Agency in the Kent area, in order to help them recruit for a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis.

They are a therapeutic fostering agency and they provide ongoing therapeutic training. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in therapeutic fostering and get access to therapeutic trainings such as Theraplay or DDP.

This is a not for profit Independent Fostering Agency also, so they are like a charity. They re-invest their profit back into the service to make sure they are constantly improving. As a result, they have a Good Ofsted rating and an excellent reputation.

They also have a manageable caseload - between 10 - 12. The foster families are located mostly around the Medway area, which will reduce your travel, as you will not have to drive to too many places in Kent.

The responsibilities of the Supervising Social Worker in this role will be to provide support and supervision to the foster cares. The role doesn't include completing Form F Assessments, giving you time to focus on the existing foster families. This means you will also have a good work - life balance.

This is mostly a home based role, with one day working from the office.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or within a LAC team. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
