As a leading manufacturing company specialising in laser cutting and fabrication services, this company are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join their successful team. As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of operations and driving the company towards continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the company, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and goals
• Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence
• Manage and optimise the company's resources, including personnel, equipment, and finances, to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for innovation and market expansion
• Evaluate and mitigate risks to protect the company's assets and reputation
• Prepare and present regular reports to the senior team at our head office on the company's performance, goals, and initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting and fabrication processes, technologies, and industry best practices
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate teams at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting principles
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and lead by example
