NonStop's client, based in the vibrant and diverse East Midlands, is seeking determined and motivated Supervising Social Workers to join their Fostering Team.

You will typically be responsible for up to 13 fostering families, ensuring that you can provide high-quality support and assistance to each one. This manageable caseload allows you to truly focus on making a positive difference in the lives of those you work with.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the recruitment and evaluation of Foster Carers to increase the placement options for vulnerable children within their local communities, close to family and friends.

  • Evaluating Special Guardians and ensuring the implementation of support plans.

  • Collaborating with a child's Social Worker to establish permanence for children, whether through long-term fostering or special guardianship.

Requirements:

  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)

  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being

  • Post-qualified experience across fostering and/or adoption

  • Clear, Enhanced DBS

  • Must drive and have access to own vehicle
