Plant Engineer Expert HVAC and Utilities - Basel Biologics

Switzerland, Basel area. As an Operating Engineer specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and utilities, you will be responsible for ensuring the GMP-compliant operation and maintenance of ventilation and air systems within our Biological facilities.

Responsibilities:
* Overseeing technical operations of HVAC and utilities systems, including the generation and distribution of WFI, purified water, pure steam, and ultrapure gases in compliance with GMP and EHS standards
* Acting as a subject matter expert in projects, providing necessary technical insights
* Presenting assigned systems during customer and authority audits
* Handling deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
* Leading cross-functional project teams comprised of technicians and mechanics
* Reviewing and approving re-qualification documents

Your requirements profile:
* University degree or technical college degree (Master/Bachelor/Dipl. Ing.) in building technology, supply technology, pharmaceutical engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, technician training with substantial professional experience
* Experience in plant and operating technology
* Proficiency with systems for producing and distributing WFI, purified water, pure steam, and ultrapure gases
* Familiarity with refrigeration and ventilation systems to maintain clean room conditions in pharmaceutical production, including relevant regulatory requirements (GMP)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within the company
* Proficiency in English and German
* Familiarity with computer-based systems such as COMOS and SAP is advantageous
