Social Worker - Adolescents Team (Contract)
Qualified Social Worker Adolescents Team - £40 per hour - Merseyside Region
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QSW to join their team in the Merseyside area as part of the Adolescents team. As a Social Worker in the Adolescents Team, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of social work practice to teenagers and their families in need of support and protection. This role combines elements of LAC with leaving care and will have you working with adolescents aged 14+

Responsiblities
- Managing a caseload of young individuals and ensuring they are receiving the right level of care and support
- Carrying out assessments and making decisions regarding the level of intervention needed
- Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the young individual's care, such as health professionals, teachers, and other social workers
- Attending meetings and court hearings as necessary, presenting evidence and advocating for the needs of the young individuals
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Registered with Social Work England
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in child protection and safeguarding
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
