Do you have experience working a Production Assistant?
We are currently recruiting for a Production Assistant based between Truro and Falmouth.
What will the role involve?
- Dealing with customers face to face who call into the office
- Answering telephone calls in a timely, polite and professional manner
- Building quotations and inputting them into the database
- Follow up, close and move orders on
- Inputting customer orders and purchase orders into Sage
- Producing any associated paperwork required for the different orders
- Filling job packs once fully completed by production
- Booking in stock deliveries on Sage and notifying suppliers of any discrepancies
- Undertaking stock takes
- Handling eBay and Web Orders
- Preparing items and paperwork for posting / collection
- Ad hoc duties when required
What are we looking for?
- Reliable and honest person with good time keeping
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent customer service skills when speaking to people face to face
- Flexibility to work in the workshop and other departments as necessary
- Experience of using SAGE
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Good mathematical skills
What else do I need to know?
- £11.50 - £12.50 per hour
- Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm
- Temporary - Permanent for the right candidate after 3 months
