Social worker - Child Protection - 1 office days- Outstanding Ofsted

NonStop Care is currently working an Outstanding Ofsted local authority in the South of England who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Children's Social Work Team and is paying up to £42 p/hr.

They offer the opportunity to work from home which offers extra support for their workforce and helps assist with effective and efficient caseload management, giving you greater job satisfaction and flexibility

In this role you will be joining an local authority with a Outstanding Ofsted rating, meaning that you will be joining an successful team with good practices, enhancing your skills which will help lead to further career opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Engage with children, their carers and families in such a way as to clearly understand their circumstances, wishes and feelings and form conclusions which direct longer term interventions focused on the best interests of the child.

Be first point of contact for the children helping to create a safer environment, ensuring that the children grow up safe with action being taken when it is of the best outcome of the child.

Requirements:

The role requires a recognised social work qualification and relevant post-qualification experience and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience, ideally within Child Protection teams. You will also hold a full drivers license and have access to a vehicle.
