Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a permanent HR Administrator within a well-established, friendly company where additional learning and progression is encouraged.

The HR Administrator will contribute to the manufacturing business by overseeing and driving all aspects of General Administration and Human resource activities.

This includes the organisation's day-to-day and high-level HR functions, whilst ensuring that the company follows employment legislation and best practices, and supports the organisation's strategic plan through recruitment, talent management, performance management and administration of HR and training activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Reporting of all HS&E incidents, unsafe acts & near miss incidents.
  • Support the implementation of HS&E corrective actions.
  • Always maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping.
  • Ensures that all work is carried out in line with company policy, procedures & cGMP guidelines.

General Admin

  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.
  • Assist in organising company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining organisational efficiency by implementing and improving administrative processes.

HR Administration

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding (organising their induction and initial training plan), and offboarding processes (including exit interviews, termination meetings and removal of employee data from systems in compliance with GDPR.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records with various systems, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate the training and development program to meet both the strategic and general business requirements.
  • Ensure that employee performance management and disciplinary processes are conducted in accordance with employment legislation and company policy.
  • Ensure the organisation's HR policies and procedures are up to date with legal changes and best practices.
  • Support the Senior Management team with all employee-related matters.
  • Liaise with and support the employee works forum, on all matters, including notetaking and issues of actions and minutes.
  • Facilitate employee benefits package with and update employees.
  • Report arcuate and up-to-date information on employee staffing levels, sickness levels, KPI, and equality etc.
  • Facilitate the company's Occupation Health Screen.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (36.25 hours including breaks)

Salary is competitive and dependant upon experience.
