NonStop's client, based in Birmingham, is in search of a determined and motivated manager to step into the role of Registered Fostering Manager.

As the Registered Fostering Manager, you'll have the chance to lead and cultivate a team, making a tangible impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people. With a Good Ofsted rating and Outstanding in management, you can be assured you will be going into a service that already runs smoothly, giving you an easy transition into the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of a very small service in Birmingham
  • Responsibility for identifying, nurturing, and supporting social work managers within the agency.
  • Ensuring the agency and its employees maintain the highest standards of care, including responsibility for the overall Ofsted rating.
  • Management and implementation of policies and quality assurance standards, including fostering business plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience in upper-level management, preferably as head of fostering or in a similar role.
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Driver's license.
  • A deep commitment to supporting foster carers and families in providing the best possible support.
