Job Purpose
To safely direct/control traffic movements into the Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre
Duties and Responsibilities
- The management of site traffic ensuring safe and efficient vehicle and plant movements. Using mechanical, electronic, and manual tools/equipment.
- To provide cover for the weighbridge as and when required.
- Assisting site users with the disposal, treatment, and transfer of wastes.
- General labouring and manually handling bulky items.
- Site cleansing and general daily maintenance of equipment.
- The completion of maintenance checks for relevant equipment as required. The completion of necessary paperwork relating to defect reporting and maintenance checks.
- Operating and maintaining equipment in such a manner as not to cause harm to others or negligent damage to Council property.
