Hybrid Working - Long Term Child Protection - Social worker (West midlands)

Contract - Full time - Hybrid Working

Looking to work CP cases from the comfort of your home, while taking home a generous hourly rate of £33.30 per hour?

We're currently recruiting around the West Midlands, looking to hire Qualified Social Workers. With a reasonable caseload of 15, this role will be paying an attractive rate in exchange for your experience and willingness to assist children in need.

Not only will you be assisting Children in need, backed by a generous hourly rate of £33.30/hr, but you can also make use of the hybrid-working pattern to keep in touch with the comfort of your home.

About the role:

• You'll be managing a caseload capped at a manageable 15
• Only 2 days a week in office, 3 from home.
• Covering Senior Practitioners in the teams, review complex cases together
• Not many legacy cases, 70% of the cases are between 0 - 6 months
• 8 Perm TM's covering. Stable environment.

What we offer you:

• A generous rate of £33.30/hr.
• The backing of a dedicated staff of social workers.
• Rolling contract, we've had workers stay on for 12+ months at a time!
• Minimal Courtwork involved in this team. There is a separate Court team in place.
• 9 day fortnight available.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Post-qualifying experience as a social worker in CP or LAC (or any relevant experience)
• Hard work and commitment, a strong and convincing display of a drive to succeed.
• Solid communication skills and relationship building capabilities.
• DBS Checked
