MSL Manager - North UK (Permanent)

My client is looking for a Medical Science Liaison Manager to work across the North of the UK, supporting the development of the medical strategy in collaboration with HQ medical colleagues and in line with Brand team, as well as engaging with KOLs in relation to Advisory Board activities.

Your duties will also include:

• Support the development and delivery of UK and corporate medical activities including late stage trials, independent investigator research and other relevant projects in partnership with HQ based colleagues
• Create and deliver non-promotional communication platforms to deliver accurate and balanced scientific and medical information to key opinion leaders/ institutions
• Lead and embed a culture, way of working and processes that support a fully compliant operational environment
• Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of medical objectives
• Actively collaborate with the global and local medical and marketing teams, learn and share best practices

What do I need to apply?

• Master degree in life science
• Minimum of 3 - 5 yrs. experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally working experience as Medical Affairs Manager/Medical Scientific Liaison Manager
• Understand science and clinical data and manage to interpret to business strategies, objectives and communication with health care professionals
• A creative and innovative approach of business challenges, out of the box thinking
• Thorough knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice Medicines Act and MHRA Blue Guide is essential
• Thorough understanding and ability to implement ABPI Code of Practice in communication
• Knowledge about or experience with biologicals for psoriasis or other TAs
