Job Title: Recreation Assistant

Salary: £16,781 to £18,070 pro rata

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time - 20 hours per week

The Council has a great part time role within their Community Sports service, which would be ideal for a student or somebody wanting to work in the sport industry.

Based at their centre in Cromer this is a fantastic opportunity to join their Community Sports Team. You will be a frontline member of staff who will deal face to face with members of the public, coaching and leading sessions, spending your time in and around the sports centres, monitoring sessions and activities to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for all participants, as well as the associated admin involved in registering and taking bookings for these classes.

This is a great entry position into the sports and leisure industry - you'll work as part of a friendly team and your shifts will include evenings and weekends. No previous experience is required, although an interest in sporting activities would be really helpful and a friendly can-do attitude is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).
