We are seeking a Supply Chain Design Manager to join our Supply Chain Team, on a part time permanent basis. Please note that this is a job share position working 18.75 hours per week. This is an important role in which you will support the Strategy Business Development (SBD), through leading on the detailed design of the supply chain workstream for new business.

Essentially you will be responsible for ensuring that we are the market-leading 'provider of choice' for delivery partners within each sector in which we operate.

The role includes:

Supporting the development of the supply chain strategy and design of new programmes to ensure that the needs of delivery partners are taken into account in the development of delivery model requirements.

Ensuring supply chains are designed to maximise the outcomes for our programmes and positively contribute to the outcomes of the bidding process.
Leading supply chain service design workstreams on large / strategically significant bids or product development projects including producing accurate costings.
Ensuring that our organisational approach and strategy to supply chain design and management is in line with the Merlin Standard and other codes of conduct where appropriate.

About you:
You must have the following skills and experience:

Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain Practice and Design - preferably within the sectors in which we operate.

Experience of working in supply chain or partnership role.

Awareness of Employability, Skills, Health, Youth Services and/or Justice sectors and policy developments within.

Holding or working towards a professional supply chain qualification (eg. CIPS/MCIPS) (desirable).

Proven track record in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Successfully delivering performance and/or quality improvements.
