Acorn is looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives
Grounds Maintenance Operatives are required for our client based in Newton Abbot to maintain parks and green spaces and provide external cleansing services.
Job Title: Temporary Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative
Requirements:
- Available for approximately 6 months over the summer.
- The ideal candidate will be experienced in grounds maintenance.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Proactive, positive and professional.
- Working well under pressure.
- The ideal candidate will have a full, clean driver's licence.
- Experience with petrol lawnmowers and strimmers.
Duties:
- Grass cutting.
- Strimming.
- Sweeping.
- Litter picking and cleansing.
- Maintenance of shrubs and flower beds.
- Edging and clearing.
- Hedge cutting.
- Pruning.
- Watering and planting.
- Spraying.
Hours:
- 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (start and finish time varies).
Pay:
- £7.83 per hour.
