Production Operatives (Temporary)

Acorn is looking for Process / Production / Machine Operatives to work with one of Newton Abbot's largest companies.

Roles are available in many departments and training is provided.

Our client makes yogurts, custard, mousse, cheesecakes and more delicious products. They have a large, clean, modern factory near Newton Abbot town centre.

Duties for Production / Process / Packing / Picking / Machine Operatives:

• Working as part of a team operating machines making layered deserts (training provided).
• Making batches of mixtures used in the machines for the deserts.
• Following recipe sheets, logging ingredients.
• Packing / picking.
• Quality checking
• Adhering to Health and Safety / Food Hygiene policy.
• Working to the highest standard.
• Night workers clean the factory and help make batches.
• General production, process, packing, picking duties.
• Opportunities for machine operators.

Hours:

• 12 hour shifts - 6am - 6pm days, or 6pm - 6am nights.
• 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off.

Location:

• Newton Abbot - near the town centre.
• Short walk from the train station.

Pay:

• £7.83 to £9.35 depending on experience and department / job role.
