The Research Analyst role is located in South Central London, and will be offering a starting salary £25,000 - £30,000. The Research Analyst will be experienced in business writing, content writing, market analysis and presenting - for clients or at events, and will charged with conducting research/ report production for external clients. This will involve looking at category data, industry related information and qualitative and quantitative data sets to build an engaging report that will then be presented back to the the client, face to face or over the phone/web or at events internationally - yes! You will enjoy some international travel and public speaking is a must!

The goal of this position is to tell a storey with the data and to help provide valuable insight to the clients on industry challenges, specific topics or general matters facing their company or industry.

The ideal candidate would need to have excellent business/ market related data researching skills,strong command of excel and data manipulation, top notch writing and communication skill, including presenting reports to clients directly. As this role is client facing, the position would require both an analytical and outgoing personality type!

The role:

The candidate must be a motivated, organized, critical thinker, with an ability to deliver to fixed time-bound commitments, with high quality.

The candidate must be a strong communicator through written and spoken word, and via quantitative methods.

Successful candidates will have demonstrable ability in research methods, and experience in business writing (blogs, reports, presentations etc)

The analyst will collaborate with their peers of all levels of seniority and geographies with poise.

Key Responsibilities:

*Define and conduct research to establish fact-based reasoning for insights. Research methods include reading, speaking with clients, vendors, evaluating and analysing case study information, benchmark and diagnostic data, and other primary or secondary research methods which comprise the research process

*Produce impactful analysis for our clients. Specialise analysis and advice to industry / role-specific research as necessary; for example Chief Procurement Officer, Head of Strategy, Head of Innovation, Category Strategy Leader.

*Create specified volumes of research and responses to client requests to set deadlines and on demand via tele and video conferencing, written research, recorded and in-person presentations; the position combines the need to prepare deliverables (with their research component) in accordance with a schedule as well as responding to client requests which cannot be planned for

*Actively collaborate with peers and contribute to establishing company research positions.

*Actively contribute to the research process by identifying critical issues facing clients and determining specific subjects to research and develop.

*Provide support to the sales organization to renew and develop business. Advise prospective and existing clients. Demonstrate research value.

Key Attributes, Skills and Experience

*Minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) Undergraduate Degree
*2+ years experience working within a related discipline; will previously have held a role with statistics, research, finance, economics or business field, or as industry analyst with knowledge of a specific industry or business function
*Exceptional analytical skills; ability to apply conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing and defending conclusions. Ability to develop a fact-based research position and support that position to internal and external clients.(Qualitative and Qualitative)
*Excellent planning and project management skills
*Flawless, articulate and succinct communication skills in English: Excellent presentation and writing skills.
*Ambitious, eager to learn about global business trends both inside and outside their field of expertise and willing to keep their finger on the pulse of the changing procurement landscape to meet the demands of our customers
*Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in remote and culturally diverse teams.
*Available to travel both domestically and internationally.
