Accountant - temporary contract (Temporary)

Are you an AAT qualified accountant with experience working at a supervisory level? We are currently looking for a successful individual to join the Technical Accounting Section on a temporary basis for our client based in Manchester City centre.

Payrate: £10.86 - £11.50

The role will require you to:

• Manage and be responsible for the day to day performance of the accounting section
• Ensure that the organization complies with all current legal requirements published under FRS and SSAP
• Manage all accounts ensuring that they are reconciled in a timely manner
• Ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled and the discrepancies are being highlighted and reported to Senior Management
• Produce reports and analyse data
• Supervise a number of services such as: payable orders, advanced salary payments, foreign transactions, online payments, timesheet reconciliations, completion of cash books on a daily basis, etc.

This is a role where attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important as well as providing excellent customer service to all. You must be able to manage and prioritise your own workload.

Our ideal candidate would have:

• AAT qualification or qualified by experience
• ECDL
• Knowledge of SSAP's and FRS
• Great numeracy and IT skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
