What will I be doing?

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide a high level of care and support to residents in a home in Southampton. On a daily basis, you will:

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as dressing, eating and bathing
• Help with housekeeping duties, including making beds and doing the laundry
• Ensure that residents’ rooms are clean and tidy
• Help to deliver a programme of activities for residents
• Carry out all tasks in-line with health and safety requirements

Who are we looking for?

Previous experience in a care environment would be beneficial, but this is by no means essential. While no experience is required, to be considered, you’ll need:

• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• A compassionate and caring approach
• Great communication skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
