Who are we looking for?
As our ideal Surfacing Supervisor, you will be able to demonstrate proven supervisory experience ideally within civil engineering. You will ideally have a good knowledge of works delivery within the highways sector. You will also require:
- Construction Qualification – NVQ 3
- CSCS Qualification
- SMSTS / SSSTS / IOSH
- Service Technical Knowledge
- Health & Safety IOSH
- IT Literate Word Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Driving Licence
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a Surfacing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on site to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with programme/works order, budget and quality requirements. This role will also involve:
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies, processes and procedures.
- Working closely with the project Quantity Surveyor(s) to understand the commercial strategy for each project and implementing this on site to maximise returns.
- Development and maintenance of relationship with Client Engineers and Supervisors.
- Leading and developing the site team to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
