Membership Officer

Do you have experience working with the membership of a charity or non-profit? Would you like to work in a conservation charity that gives beautiful places a new lease of life? Would like to take ownership of some elements of membership marketing?

This could be the membership role for you!

Benefits:
*Salary of 26,000 - 30,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
*Design and deliver effective membership recruitment campaigns
*Be the first point of contact for donors and membership, responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
*Produce literature to promote membership and be involved with other aspects of membership marketing
*Assist with the production of the membership magazine
*Communicate with members over the phone, providing an excellent level of customer care, assisting with membership queries and promoting the benefits of the higher tiers of membership
*Maintain donor information on ThankQ
*Develop and implement plans for legacy income generation
*Assist with the annual appeals process, including liaising with external stakeholders such as designers, printer and mailing houses
*Attend donor events across the country where appropriate
*Support the delivery of the annual programme of talks and lectures
Requirements:
*An established track record of working with membership organisations
*Experience of delivering campaigns to deliver growth
*Knowledge and experience of targeted legacy marketing
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Ability to communicate with potential and current members
*Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable
